My thought is that although these PCs are still running well, I have a feeling we will be replacing them before January 2020 when support for Windows 7 is up.
We don't use any of the Windows 10 apps, I have to shut off the Store through GPO, turn off 'start menu suggestions', etc. Finally, I hate that Windows 10 requires so much more configuration after installation. We don't use Cortana and Edge doesn't work with two of our main vendors so we're still running IE. We also can't use cerrtain security functions through GPOs because most of the ones we want to use are only compatible with Enterprise or Education versions. My question to all of the IT pros is, is it stupid to consider downgrading these 25 PCs back to Windows 7 Pro? I upgraded them to Windows 10 Pro when it was free last year, but we've run into issues. I'm going to be reinstalling the Windows OS and adding memory to each of them. A department in my office is upgrading their main accounting system next month to one that supports 圆4 OSs and more than 4GB of RAM.
